Judith was looking for a kitten and a new litter had arrived at the pound. Bingo… Lucky was delivered and immediately settled into Judith’s heart. He was a semi wild little puss not ever having been indoors before but with a little time and patience and lots of tender loving care little Lucky is becoming an absolutely gorgeous purring machine. Judith has a small enclosed courtyard that is perfect for this little fluff ball to play safely and he is always safely tucked up at night time. Thank you Judith for taking the time to call us and save a little life. Not all pound kittens are as lucky as Lucky… hence his name! Take care little man. Meg is a middle aged lady who appears to have had many puppies. We believe she is probably a Lab Cattle Dog X. Meg was saved because the vet staff couldn’t bear to say goodbye to her and Pet Warriors came to her rescue. Everyone that meets Meg loves her. She is placid, relaxed with no vices to speak of. Because she has had a hard life she now is enjoying life with her foster carer who walks her on the beach which she enjoys immensely. If you are looking for a mature companion that will not demand much of you then please think of giving Meg the forever home she deserves. Say a gentle Hello to little Boo. Boo is a wild born kitten that’s first known home was a drain. Hungry & terrified Boo’s first reaction upon being ‘rescued’ or ‘captured’ in her eyes, was to hiss & cower in fear of these strange large creatures on two legs! Within days Boo realised that these strange creatures brought comfort in the way of a safe warm bed, plenty of food & a kind touch & is beginning to enjoy being held & cuddled. We are hopeful that within a few weeks Boo will have adjusted to domesticated life & be able to live a contented life with the family who chooses to make her their forever fur baby!

Pepe is around 5 or 6 years old and has been previously neglected. When rescued from the Pound Pepe had sores on both ears and a mouth full of rotten teeth. Believed to be a Tibetan Spaniel cross he weighs in at only 5.6kg. Pepe is a friendly dog and has shown no desire to bark unnecessarily. He enjoys the company of human and canines in equal measure, walks well on a lead & also enjoys off leash runs on the beach. He is a real sweet heart and much, much happier now that his rotten teeth have been removed. He will forever have a gummy smile but this makes him ever so much more lovable. Pepe would love to come and live with you.

Jordie also got lucky today for a second time since being rescued from the Cemetery on New Years eve, adopted by the wonderful Trevor. She will be good company for Trevor as he will be for her & I’m sure Trevor’s lap will get put to good use by Jordie! Enjoy your new beginning Jordie & Trevor.

Sweet little Eve that was rescued from a tree in the Maryborough Cemetery on New Years Eve is starting her new life today with Les & Linda from Hervey Bay. She will be a spoilt indoor cat, spending her days with fellow Pet Warrior rescue cat ‘Tara’ & Les & Linda’s dogs! Linda & Les came to meet Cinder, Eve’s sister, but Eve made it very clear they were going to pick her by climbing up Les’s jeans A big thank you to Les & Linda for opting to adopt & saving a life this New Year!
