The Fraser Coast Pet Warriors is determined to provide a service for our community that values transparency in all its dealings. The group is incorporated but is now finalizing all the legal requirements needed to ensure that it can undertake all its activities in a very responsible manner. If you have any questions or would like to provide assistance in any way please feel free to contact us. We look forward to providing an honest and responsible service to our Fraser Coast community.

POUND PUPPIES
Each week, members of the Fraser Coast Pet Warriors attend the local council pounds and rescue dogs and cats that are due for euthanasia. Many abandoned pets are saved, however without more foster parents, we cannot continue this service.
Four dogs were rescued from the Maryborough Pound on the 14/1/10. One dog went into foster care in Maryborough and two of these dogs and the puppy were taken in by the Maryborough Animal Refuge. Without their help today, these dogs would have had a completely different fate as we did not have foster homes to put them in. The Maryborough Animal Refuge is now full and cannot take any more dogs, as is the case with Sippy Creek Animal Refuge.
Dogs rescued from the Hervey Bay pound are in foster homes, however we now have all foster homes in the Hervey Bay area with dogs and are looking for more foster parents in these areas.
If you have good fencing, a kind heart, and can assist with our rescue mission, please contact us on the email address on the ‘contact us’ page. We would love to have you on board.
